Shafted, the sequel to Shaft, was our second full action wakeboard movie. Eric and Mark shot the entire movie (except for the helmet camera footage) on 16mm film. Starring Shaun Murray, Darin Shapiro, Shane and Parks Bonifay, Shawn Watson and more this movie solidified Bump Films as a major player in the wakeboard industry.
The above segment is part of Parks Bonifay’s section, one of the most memorable for us to shoot/produce and one of the most significant movie segments of 2000. First off, the entire segment is double ups and second, some of these tricks had never been done before. This was Parks Bonifay in his prime and we were just lucky enough to be along for the ride.
